From Stray to Stay Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping dogs in need get the care, safety, and support they need on their journey from rescue to home.
What breed are the dogs?
Many of our rescues are mixed breeds with unknown backgrounds. Without DNA testing, we usually can’t know their exact breed—and we think being one of a kind is part of what makes them special!
Where do your rescue dogs come from?
Our dogs come to us through different circumstances. Some are found on the streets, abandoned, injured, or in unsafe situations, while others are surrendered or brought to our attention by people in the community.
How big will a puppy get?
We can provide our best estimate based on age, current size, and any information we have about the parents, but adult size can never be guaranteed.
Are your dogs vaccinated and medically evaluated?
Yes. Dogs receive veterinary care based on their individual needs, including appropriate vaccinations and treatment before adoption. Some rescues require more extensive medical intervention, which we coordinate with veterinary professionals.
How do I adopt?
